Second day after,... still problems in coordination.
I put my finger into the cup of hot coffee instead the bowl with grapes on the other side of my desk.... This helps you to stay awake but do not makes you feel smart. *sigh*
The Team1 page has a little problem with Traffic since two hours and all my fine updates have been a waste of today's time (at could finally listen to all new Combichrist tracks - *quote" get head if you got it *g*) now I can start to fill my blackouts with words.
Sathurday, Team 1 meet at a berlin shopping mall. Lilith, Steff and me. Actually for only 4 hours... of course I had to call Goldmann for begging his pardon and ask for more time. Girls on a shopping tour... neverending story. I mean, look at those things we found... I had to study it. A pregnant Toy-Dog with seven little Toy-Dog-Babies inside. I'm from the Eastside, we didn't have anything! *g*
So after I brought those puppies into the marketing world, we found shoes. Needless to say we bought some. Or some more.
And if you have the right shoes, you need a matching slacks. So we bought also some.
Alright, so why not have new shirts with stars! I mean, hey Zeromancer will playing at the Amphi Festival, Stars!! Shirts with stars!
So if you have new shirts, better buy new underwear, chains, earrings and makeup for the ultimate new styling. Hm... there are two day at this Festival.
No problem, start again...
You see, we needed more time than 4 hours.
Icecream, doublechocolate muffins and coffee perfect the day,
At the late evening, we had dinner at Liliths place and of course everyone had at least one wodka lemon ;)
Stef's wounderfull Irland-photos, mostly in gray/green and under heavy rainshowers *g*, made us want to go right now to Irland. There you can have great shootings!
But first, welcome Irland at the Team 1 homebase ;)
Sunday:
It was their mishap to did a tour with Undergod. once and doing such infected shows. So here we are again, beleaguer escort
them to the Radio Show of KEN FM. The studio is located at the Babelsberg Moviepark, which is a very huge area, as we should learn soon.
While the musician waited for the were late soundcheck, the girlz were on the look for a moneymaschine and pussy-cigarettes for desperate musician.
In the end, we needed ONE hour to find both. Walking through empty movie scenery, backstage of a stuntshow (where the f*ck are we) and every which way to find a exit of this film-park.No matter if there is a street or only an underused fallow land. No clue where we are, over 31 degree, no shadow, no sunblocker, just fences ...
At the very end of our good mood we finally found the cashmachine and also a cigarette automat (almost back in Berlin) - only to find out, you will need a european driver license or a new chipcard to get some. I haven't any of this, I'm old school. I don't even have a camera-mobil nor Ipod. Steff is the technicnerd here, so she could help me ;)
Of course we didn't took the shortes way back... thanks good I started to drink some wodka before, otherwise I would have become very very moody. So it was more a funny trip around millons of empty meadows.
Back at the studios, Lluther attune themself to a brightday concert and it seems they pitch their songs a bit slower.
Team 1, sitting outside in the shadows, commented the slowest soundcheck ever of the already orignal girly-song "for you" in our own way. As Stef said trenchantly "they better would have let us shooted the video" - we did our version today.
Without milky bathtubes (I'm still thinking its Gerry in the beginning inside the tub and later a female bodydouble to make it more suitable to the market).

The first band has to draw swastikas on flip charts, imagin to be into the Naziscene and following thinking of "multikulti", isreal vacation and has to train their left arm... for all non-german speakers at the venue it must have been a very strange situation. But it was one of the sophisticated, admonitory speech, Moderator Ken Jebsen does every sunday. Very taff guy.
16:40, finally Lluther-time. Moderator Ken J. linguistically overrun the poor Irish, who didn't understood one single word, which wasn't only because of the german language. Ken is special. He is fast thinking and faster talking. He has lots to say and too short time. Fixed part of every show is the introducing of the band by a short recap of any facts Ken Fm could find about the guest. Plus some pictorial sentences. Don't take it tooooo seriously!

Chef at Lluther is Gerry Owens.
Nativ-born in Dublin, Gerry comes from a familie who is very gifted in music. His father created movie soundtracks, so Gerrys way was given. Together with Drummer Ger Farrell he started a band called Skin Dive six years ago and at the same time the workaholic was up to mischief at Arcane Asylum and did the support for example the fear factory.

Gerry, who started to write song when he was a teenager, someday finds a map of London while cleaning up the whiskey bottles.
Impulsively he decide to visit this city. Dublin is full of english people anyway, so he also can pitch up a tent at the maincity of kingdom. Soon he get into a lot of bands till the money for another beer is running out.
Gerry goes back to Dublin and supported with Skin Dive the singing emergency situation Marilyn Manson. The gigs are bright and loud. That means the combo emphasizes on visual which are coequal as the sound.
Producerlegend Adrian Sherwood, known for industrial production, which could wrecking any old ramshackle building in only 10
mins, take notice on him, producing the nextcoming album but can't shield that the combo 2003 dissolves.
Gerry Owens has fed up with it and becomes really angry about that. But instead of bury his head in the sand (Ken is making a good german joke with words and georgraphie, can't translate it) he founded Lluther.
Togehter with bassplayer Chief, Dek on the guitar and Ant at the sampler they creating in only a few month a new album which
leave NIN way behind. Agent of Empire is blast, can uses as musically demolition ball or to headbanging people with missing
motor functions. Hard but magnificent!
Music like IG Metal (a german industrial cooperative) only better organized."

AAnyway, the first set went brilliant. Maybe some probs with the vocal volume and it was obviously to hear, how punishing the last shows have been.
We were sitting on tiny stools, fidgety and ready to rock but the daylight and those one offical camcorder + the intern camcorder of Daniel (the tourmanager) blocked effectively our curse desire always to make a spectacle of ourselfs. Damn! At least they could hear us. And see of course, I can tell you, sitting on stools and suck in the stomach is hard work too!
After the radio gig was over, with lots of standing ovation, some of us had to leave Berlin earlier, some started an excessive aftershowparty in nearly two bars in Berlin-Mitte. Here we teamed up with Moth Complex. A band where Gerry do the music for and they supported Lluther from time to time.Anyone out of control. HA HA they trusted me and the holy water drink! Poor you! But it's the only way to start an evening at the Last Cathedral Bar!
I never ever before get warned to get boot out of a bar *g* Just a couple of Irish musicians can make it happend.It was that loud, it was nearly impossible to listen to only One of them, I wasn't trained in selective listen. Even when some doesn't speak real english, some how *g*
After a while I got into all special accents and had some very very nice talks.
While the next day plane leaves early from Schönefeld, the drinking- and cuddlesession (Damo spread out backbones of all musician, he is a learned physiotherapist) around 4 am. 2 hours of sleep... more or less. The "next" day it turns out, some of them definitively needing more hour of sleep. 2 guys didn't wake up in time so they had to stay a bit longer in Berlin.
Could be worst, could be Hamburg ;)
Ah speaking of Hamburg. Nice to see, Hamburg does have very nice guys too! Maybe I revise my opinion on this city... we'll see.
